Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has met party President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
The meeting, held today at President Deuba’s residence, focused on discussions related to the party’s 15th general convention, according to Koirala’s personal secretary Dinesh Chandra Thapaliya.
During the meeting, Koirala informed Deuba that the Active Membership Distribution Committee had sent forms without serial numbers to districts, creating complex problems within the party. He urged the party president to immediately recall the unnumbered forms and distribute new ones.
Koirala also requested that disciplinary actions taken against party leaders be lifted so they could be mobilized in the party’s general convention and the upcoming general elections.
Party leader and former minister Dr. Minendra Rijal was also present at Deuba’s residence along with Koirala during the meeting.
