On the third trading day of the week, Tuesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 18.37 points to settle at 2,619.99 points.
A total of 7,804,045 shares of 325 companies were traded during the day, generating a turnover of over NPR 3.29 billion. Ngadi Group Power Limited recorded the highest trading volume, with transactions worth NPR 198.2 million.
In Tuesday’s market, investors of Swastik Laghubitta earned the highest gains as the company’s share price hit a positive circuit. Meanwhile, investors of Shweta-Ganga Hydropower and Construction Limited incurred the biggest losses, with the company’s share price falling by more than 4 percent.
