In Kawasoti-8, Nawalpur, a bus lost control and overturned in the middle of the road near the Kharkatta forest on the East-West Highway, leaving 13 people injured.
According to Madhhu Nepal, Information Officer at Nawalpur District Police Office, the bus (registration number Na 4 Kha 7776) was traveling from Danda to Narayangadh when it overturned due to high speed. About 25 passengers were on board at the time.
The injured were taken to hospitals in Bharatpur and Kawasoti. Among them, 65-year-old Vishnu Bik from Devchuli Municipality-14 and 70-year-old Deepbahadur Bhattarai from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-21 are receiving treatment at Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital in Danda.
Seven others are receiving treatment at Nawalpur Hospital in Kawasoti, including:

- 17-year-old Salman Khan, Kalai Sub-Metropolitan City-19, Bara
- 12-year-old girl Sadiksha Wagle, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-5, Chitwan
- 24-year-old Shweta Ale, Hupsekot-4, Nawalpur
- 22-year-old Jamuna Reshmi, Hupsekot-4, Nawalpur
- 37-year-old Narmaya Ale, Hupsekot-4, Nawalpur
The police continue to monitor the situation and ensure proper medical care for all the injured.
