A total of 415 votes have been cast so far in the 11th General Convention election of the Nepal Communist Party (UML). The voting is taking place at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu.
According to UML leader Sanuraj Pokharel, the voting pace has been slower compared to the morning session. A total of 2,263 voters are eligible to participate in the election for UML’s new leadership.
Meanwhile, outside the voting venue, party leaders and cadres are actively campaigning and soliciting votes for their respective factions.
