The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that there is a partial influence of westerly winds in Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province, while no significant weather system is affecting other parts of the country.
At present, the hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are experiencing partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country remains mainly clear. Fog and mist have been observed in some areas of the Terai and valleys.
This afternoon, the hilly regions of Sudurpaschim Province will remain partly cloudy, with mainly clear weather prevailing in the remaining areas.
According to the Division, tonight the hilly regions of the country, including Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, will be partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will continue to experience mostly clear weather.
