The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 13.88 points on Tuesday to close at 2,581.21.
According to NEPSE, a total of 9,167,359 shares of 332 companies were traded through 65,312 transactions, resulting in a total turnover of NPR 3.51 billion.
Except for the trading group, all other sectoral sub-indices ended the day in negative territory. The share price of Suryodaya Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited hit a positive circuit, while Manushi Laghubitta Financial Institution Limited recorded the highest loss, with its share price falling by 6.84 percent.
In terms of transaction value, Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited recorded the highest turnover, with shares worth NPR 103.08 million traded. Based on the number of shares traded, Garima Samriddhi Yojana topped the list with 1,277,180 units exchanged.
