Janamat Party Chairman Dr. CK Raut has emphasized that the House of Representatives election must be held on the scheduled date of February 21. Speaking to journalists after discussions with the government’s Political Dialogue Committee at the party office, he made this assertion.
Chairman Raut said the party views the government’s recent steps positively and clarified that Janamat Party had decided from the very beginning to participate in the election. He stressed that the spirit of the Gen Z movement should be respected and that there is a clear need to seek a fresh public mandate, while also drawing the government’s attention to the growing state of disorder in society.
“We have taken the government’s move positively,” Raut said. “We had already decided to participate in the election from the start. The election must be held on February 21. The spirit of the movement must be honored, and a new mandate should be sought.”
He further stated that the government must create an environment capable of addressing public fear caused by escaped prisoners and missing weapons, adding that concerns related to election security had also been raised with the government.
