Two important parliamentary committees—the Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee—are scheduled to meet today.
The Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee will convene at 11:30 AM to hold discussions with stakeholders regarding the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Land, 2082.
The Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will also meet at 11:30 AM. Its agenda includes discussions with the Department of Archaeology concerning the conservation of archaeological heritage in the Gallery Hall. Other topics include the construction of a gym inside the Mahalakshmisthan temple premises and the alleged transfer of land ownership at Swoyambhu into a private name. The committee will also review the current state of Gallery Hall reconstruction and the progress of the new parliament building with the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction.
