Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 143.36, while the selling rate stands at Rs 143.96.
The buying rate of one European euro is Rs 169.09 and the selling rate is Rs 169.79. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 193.74 and a selling rate of Rs 194.55, while the Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 182.22 for buying and Rs 182.98 for selling.
Likewise, the Australian dollar has been set at Rs 96.25 for buying and Rs 96.65 for selling, the Canadian dollar at Rs 104.85 for buying and Rs 105.28 for selling, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 111.69 for buying and Rs 112.16 for selling.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.20 and the selling rate at Rs 9.23. One Chinese yuan is being traded at Rs 20.44 for buying and Rs 20.52 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal has been set at Rs 38.22 for buying and Rs 38.38 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 39.33 for buying and Rs 39.49 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.62 for buying and Rs 4.64 for selling. The UAE dirham is priced at Rs 39.04 for buying and Rs 39.20 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 35.44 for buying and Rs 35.59 for selling. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.89 and the selling rate is Rs 9.93. Similarly, the Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.65 for buying and Rs 15.71 for selling, and the Danish krone at Rs 22.64 for buying and Rs 22.73 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.44 and the selling rate at Rs 18.51. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 466.64 for buying and Rs 468.59 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar has been set at Rs 380.06 for buying and Rs 381.65 for selling. Likewise, the Omani riyal stands at Rs 372.36 for buying and Rs 373.92 for selling. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that the rates determined by commercial banks may differ, and the latest exchange rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
