A motorcycle rider has died in a traffic accident. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Trishal Mahato of Gardi, Madi Municipality–1.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal of the District Police Office, the motorcycle bearing registration number Ba Pra 034 Pa 5205, which was traveling from Bharatpur towards Tandi, went out of control and met with an accident this morning near the Tikouli forest area of Ratnanagar Municipality–9.
Both the motorcycle rider Trishal Mahato and the pillion rider, 19-year-old Ankit Mahato, were injured in the accident.
Police said Trishal Mahato died during treatment at Central Hospital, while the other injured youth, Ankit Mahato, is currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
