Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called a joint meeting of top leaders of the three major political parties. The meeting has been convened with senior leaders of the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, and the Nepal Communist Party, and is scheduled to be held on Saturday.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting has been called to discuss preparations for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has already met Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba this morning and UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli at noon to invite them to the meeting. He is also scheduled to meet Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ later today to extend the invitation.
