Gold prices witnessed a heavy drop in the Nepali market on Tuesday. The price of gold fell by Rs 7,900 per tola today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold that was traded at Rs 270,000 per tola on Monday is being traded today at Rs 262,100 per tola.
Gold had reached a new record high of Rs 270,600 per tola on Poush 13.
Similarly, silver prices also declined today by Rs 305. Silver, which had hit a record high of Rs 4,895 per tola on Monday, is being traded today at Rs 4,590 per tola, the association said.
