Prime Minister Sushila Karki has urged everyone to support the electoral process, stating that elections are the only means to maintain peace and stability in the country and to establish a sustainable democracy.
She made these remarks during a meeting this morning at Baluwatar with Durga Prasai, a leader of the campaign for the protection of the nation, nationality, religion, culture, and citizens.
Prime Minister Karki said that the country can no longer bear instability and unrest, and therefore appealed to all concerned to express their demands and grievances through peaceful means.
Informing that the country has already entered the election process, she said that seeking public endorsement of issues through elections is now the only democratic way forward.
