Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene, and aviation fuel. According to the corporation’s latest decision, the price of petrol has been lowered by NPR 4 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices have been reduced by NPR 5 per liter.
The price of domestic aviation fuel has been cut by NPR 6 per liter. As stated in a press release issued by the corporation, the revised prices came into effect from Thursday morning.
The price adjustment has been made in line with the revised rates received from the Indian Oil Corporation. Following the adjustment, the price of petrol in the Kathmandu Valley has been fixed at NPR 159 per liter, while diesel and kerosene will now cost NPR 137 per liter.
The corporation stated that the decision was taken to provide relief to consumers in Nepal following changes in international petroleum prices. Meanwhile, the price of international aviation fuel has been reduced by USD 42 per kiloliter, according to the press release. The price of LPG gas, however, has been kept unchanged.
