Government to Hold Talks with Durga Prasain on National Campaign
The government is scheduled to hold talks today with Durga Prasain, coordinator of the “Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, and Citizen Protection Campaign.”
The meeting will take place at 1 PM at the Prime Minister’s Office. Prime Minister Sushila Karki will attend the discussion, along with Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, the PM’s Secretariat confirmed.
Earlier, Prime Minister Karki had presented Prasain with a portrait of Lord Gautam Buddha, a symbol of peace, during their meeting at Baluwatar. During the interaction, she also urged Prasain to voice his demands and grievances through peaceful means, noting that the country cannot withstand instability and unrest.
Prasain has been advocating for the establishment of a Hindu nation in Nepal.
