
Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is scheduled to arrive in Nepal tomorrow, Sunday, for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Nepal’s Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai.
The upcoming visit is expected to continue the tradition of regular high-level exchanges between the two countries and provide an opportunity to further advance bilateral relations.
According to a statement issued by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, India and Nepal share strong and friendly ties, which have seen concrete progress in recent years across various areas of cooperation. It added that under its “Neighbourhood First” policy, India attaches high priority to its relations with Nepal.
