CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and CPN leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have held a meeting.
The meeting took place at a residence near the UML office in Chyasal, Lalitpur. This was the first bilateral meeting between the two leaders since the Gen-Z movement.
During the discussion, the leaders talked about creating a conducive environment for the upcoming elections, the possibility of cooperation in the National Assembly elections, and concerns that the government has failed to create a proper election atmosphere.
According to sources, an agreement has already been reached between the Nepali Congress and UML to work together in the National Assembly elections. The meeting was also aimed at preparing to bring the Nepal Communist Party on board for broader cooperation.
