The stock market increased on the third trading day of the week. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the benchmark NEPSE index rose by 9.93 points on Tuesday to settle at 2,649.30 points.
On Tuesday, SY Panel recorded the highest turnover in the market, with transactions exceeding NPR 248.8 million.
Investors in Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta and Three Star earned the most during the session, as the share prices of these companies increased by 9.97 percent and 9.54 percent respectively.
On the losing side, investors in Ruru Hydropower Project suffered the highest losses, with the company’s share price declining by 8.41 percent.
According to NEPSE, a total of 14.83 million shares of 334 companies were traded, resulting in a total turnover of more than NPR 7.12 billion.
