Nepali Congress Holds Emergency Central Working Committee Meeting in Sanepa
The emergency meeting of the Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress has begun at the party headquarters in Sanepa. The meeting was convened after General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwo Prakash Sharma announced a special general convention scheduled for Poush 27 and 28.
The meeting is being attended by Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka, Vice President Dhanraj Gurung, General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa, among others. However, General Secretary Bishwo Prakash Sharma is absent from the meeting.
Meanwhile, the establishment faction of the Nepali Congress has called a gathering of central committee members for tomorrow (Friday).
