Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have won the French Super Cup for the fourth straight time after defeating Marseille. In the match held in Kuwait, PSG equalised at the very last moment of extra time, taking the game to a penalty shootout.
PSG took the lead in the 13th minute through Ousmane Dembélé. However, towards the end of the match, Marseille scored twice to go ahead. Mason Greenwood converted a penalty in the 76th minute, and an own goal by Willian Pacho in the 87th minute put Marseille in front.
Gonçalo Ramos scored a dramatic equaliser during injury time, forcing the match into penalties. In the shootout, PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier saved two penalties, helping PSG secure a 4–1 victory.
With this win, PSG have maintained an impressive record of winning the French Super Cup 12 times in the last 13 editions.
