The first phase of talks between the establishment faction and the Special Convention supporters of Nepali Congress has concluded. After discussing the issues with their respective groups, both sides decided to reconvene for the next meeting.
Leader Ramesh Lekhak, who participated in the talks, said the first phase has ended and the next session is scheduled for 2:30 PM. He added that both sides are willing to remain flexible to reach a consensus.
The meeting included leaders from the establishment faction—Ramesh Lekhak and Bal Krishna Khaṇ—and the Sher Bahadur Deuba-supporting faction—Badri Pandey and Jeevan Pariyar. The Special Convention supporters were represented by Pradeep Paudel, Devaraj Chalise, Madhu Acharya, and Gururaj Ghimire.
