The Central Committee of the Nepali Congress has taken disciplinary action against General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwo Prakash Sharma, expelling them from the party.
According to party Publicity Department Chief Min Bishwakarma, the Central Committee meeting decided to expel both Thapa and Sharma on disciplinary grounds. The party has also expelled Joint General Secretary Farmullah Mansur under the same decision.
Bishwakarma said the action was taken as part of enforcing party discipline, marking a significant development amid ongoing internal disputes within the Nepali Congress.
