CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli is heading to Jhapa today in connection with the election scheduled for February 21.
Oli is scheduled to travel to Bhadrapur at 10:25 am to file his candidacy nomination for the House of Representatives from Jhapa Constituency No. 5.
Upon reaching Jhapa, Chairperson Oli will gather information on election preparations across all constituencies of the district. He will also hold detailed discussions with local leaders in Damak regarding election preparations in his own constituency, Jhapa-5.
The contest in Jhapa-5 is expected to be a three-way race among KP Sharma Oli, Balen Shah, and Ranjit Tamang of the Nepal Communist Party.
