Veteran journalist Rishi Dhamala is also set to contest the upcoming election. He will run from Rautahat Constituency No. 4 on the ticket of Prabhu Sah-led Aam Janata Party, according to his wife Eliza Gautam.
Gautam, who is the Vice-Chairperson of the Aam Janata Party, shared the information through a Facebook post. “While heading to Rautahat for nomination filing from Rautahat Constituency No. 4 with the mobile symbol on behalf of the Aam Janata Party, I am with him as always,” she wrote, adding, “This support is not just by holding hands, but with unwavering trust and determination.”
Dhamala has been active in journalism for the past three decades. He is also the President of the Reporters’ Club Nepal.
