The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) for this year will be conducted from March 31 to April 10 (Chaitra 19 to 29), according to the schedule released by the National Examination Board on Wednesday.
As per the timetable, the examination will begin on Chaitra 19 with the Compulsory English paper. This will be followed by Compulsory Nepali on Chaitra 20, Compulsory Mathematics on Chaitra 22, Science and Technology on Chaitra 23, and Social Studies on Chaitra 24. Examinations for all subjects under the Optional First Group will be held on Chaitra 25, while those under the Optional Second Group will take place on Chaitra 26.
According to Class 10 Examination Controller Tukuraj Adhikari, examinations for the remaining subjects of the technical stream will be conducted on Chaitra 27, 28, and 29.
The SEE has been scheduled 12 days later than last year due to the House of Representatives election set for Falgun 21. Last year, the SEE had started on Chaitra 7.
