On the final trading day of the week, the stock market edged up in the pre-open session, with the NEPSE index rising by 1.05 points to reach 2,706.43.
During the session, shares worth Rs 102.5 million were traded. A total of 111,601 shares of 57 companies changed hands.
Among the traded stocks, share prices of 22 companies increased, while 31 companies saw a decline. The share prices of three companies remained unchanged.
