Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Paudel has said that the Central Working Committee meeting scheduled for today (Friday) is set to take a historic, election-focused decision.
Speaking to journalists upon arriving at the party’s central office in Sanepa to attend the first meeting of the newly elected Central Working Committee, Paudel said the decisions taken by the meeting would create a new wave across the country and play a key role in attracting voters towards the Nepali Congress.
“Today’s meeting will take some concrete and historic decisions with an election focus,” Paudel said. “These decisions will create a new momentum nationwide and will be important in drawing voter support for the Congress in the upcoming election.”
The meeting of the Central Working Committee elected from the second special general convention is expected to decide to go into the election by declaring party president Gagan Kumar Thapa as the future prime ministerial candidate.
