Former minister Mahabir Pun, who has filed his candidacy for the House of Representatives election from Myagdi, has been allotted the triangle election symbol. Pun appeared at the Office of the Chief Election Officer on Friday and selected the symbol from the available options provided to him.
After the symbol selection process was completed, the Election Commission officially assigned him the triangle election symbol for electoral purposes. The Commission has earlier published a predefined list of symbols that cannot be used, while allowing candidates to choose from the remaining Commission-approved symbols outside that list.
