Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 146.81 and the selling rate at NPR 147.41.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is NPR 172.31 and the selling rate NPR 173.02. The UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 198.58 and a selling rate of NPR 199.39, while the Swiss franc stands at NPR 185.61 for buying and NPR 186.37 for selling.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is NPR 100.55 and the selling rate NPR 100.96. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at NPR 106.50 for buying and NPR 106.94 for selling. Likewise, the Singapore dollar is being traded at NPR 114.75 for buying and NPR 115.22 for selling.
For Japanese yen, the buying rate for 10 yen is NPR 9.27 and the selling rate NPR 9.31. The Chinese yuan has been fixed at NPR 21.08 for buying and NPR 21.17 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at NPR 39.15 for buying and NPR 39.31 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is at NPR 40.28 for buying and NPR 40.45 for selling.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is NPR 4.71 and the selling rate NPR 4.72. The UAE dirham is being traded at NPR 39.97 for buying and NPR 40.13 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 36.65 and a selling rate of NPR 36.80. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is NPR 10.00 and the selling rate NPR 10.04. The Swedish krona is fixed at NPR 16.27 for buying and NPR 16.34 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at NPR 23.07 for buying and NPR 23.16 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 18.83 and the selling rate at NPR 18.90. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at NPR 480.32 for buying and NPR 482.28 for selling. The Bahraini dinar stands at NPR 389.39 for buying and NPR 390.98 for selling, while the Omani riyal has been fixed at NPR 381.35 for buying and NPR 382.91 for selling. Likewise, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also clarified that the rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
