The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has reported a sharp rise in gold and silver prices on Sunday, with gold increasing by NPR 2,400 per tola and silver by NPR 290 per tola.
Following the increase, the price of hallmark gold has reached NPR 303,800 per tola, the highest level ever recorded. Previously, on Friday, gold was trading at NPR 301,400 per tola.
Similarly, pure silver, which was traded at NPR 6,190 per tola on Friday, has risen to NPR 6,480 per tola on Sunday. This is also the highest price of silver recorded so far.
