In the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier match in Kathmandu, Nepal has made an impressive start against Scotland.
At the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Nepal’s Manisha Upadhyay claimed 3 wickets in the very first over, giving Nepal a strong early advantage. This is Manisha’s debut match in the Global Qualifier.
On the fourth ball of the second over, she trapped Scotland’s opener Catherine Bryce LBW, and also dismissed Darcy Carter, sending them back to the pavilion.
Nepal has conceded only 6 runs while taking 3 wickets in the first over. Nepal won the toss and chose to field, putting Scotland into bat.
