Host team Gandaki Province registered a comfortable victory over Nepal Police Club in the ongoing Sixth Tiger Cup National and International Invitational Club Championship in Pokhara.
In Tuesday’s final match of the day at the Pokhara Stadium volleyball court, Gandaki defeated Police Club in straight sets. Gandaki won the match 25–22, 25–20, and 25–14, keeping its chances of reaching the final alive with the win.
Earlier, in the first men’s match of the day, Parbat District Volleyball Association defeated Maldives Volleyball Association by 3–0 in straight sets. Parbat secured the victory with scores of 25–17, 25–18, and 25–16.
In women’s matches held the same day, New Diamond Sports Club and Thailand Queens recorded victories. New Diamond beat Nepal Police Club 3–0 in straight sets, confirming its place in the final.
