Police have arrested Yubaraj Paudel, popularly known as “Yubaraj Successful.” According to District Police Range spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Paudel was arrested today from Kathmandu.
Police said Paudel was taken into custody for investigation after allegedly making unfounded accusations on social media against the Attorney General and the Office of the Attorney General. He was presented before the court today, which granted a three-day remand for investigation, SP Bhattarai confirmed.
The arrest was made based on official correspondence sent by the Office of the Attorney General on Magh 8, requesting investigation and legal action against Paudel, police said.
An investigation has been initiated against Paudel on charges related to cybercrime.
