On Wednesday, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to collect NPR 20 billion in deposits. The collection will be for a 63-day term through a competitive bidding (auction) process.
The interest rate will be determined through the bidding, and the payment of interest will be made by NRB on Chaitra 18, 2082 BS.
Banks and financial institutions can submit their bids online until 2 PM on the day of the auction.
Only banks and financial institutions classified under categories “A,” “B,” and “C” are eligible to participate in this deposit collection auction.
