
Two people have died and three others were injured after a motorcycle and a scooter collided in Budhanilkantha Municipality, Kathmandu.
The accident occurred around 1:45 AM on Monday at Special Chowk, Budhanilkantha-7, involving a motorcycle with plate number Province 3–02–00–002 P 572 and a scooter with plate number Bagmati Province 02–041 P 6819.
Five people were riding the two vehicles at the time of the collision. They were taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (Maharajgunj) for treatment. Two of the injured — 29-year-old Bhola Thapa from Siraha and an unidentified male — died during treatment, according to police. The remaining three injured individuals are still undergoing treatment.
