The Nepal national cricket team registered a convincing seven-wicket victory over Mumbai MCA President-XI in their first practice match on Thursday night at the Brabourne Cricket Stadium in Mumbai.
Chasing a target of 143 runs, Nepal comfortably reached the total in 17.2 overs, losing only three wickets.
Captain Rohit Paudel led the run chase with an unbeaten half-century, scoring 50 runs. Kushal Bhurtel contributed 38 runs, while Dipendra Singh Airee added 28 runs to seal the win.
Earlier, after losing the toss and batting first, Mumbai President-XI scored 142 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
As part of their preparations for the upcoming World Cup, Nepal will play their next practice match against CCI on January 31.
