Gold and silver prices dropped sharply in the Nepali market on Friday, the last trading day of the week, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
After reaching an all-time high on Thursday, the price of gold fell by Rs 20,500 per tola on Friday, while silver declined by Rs 440 per tola.
Following the decrease, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 318,800 per tola on Friday. On Thursday, gold had reached a record high of Rs 339,300 per tola.
Similarly, the price of standard silver, which had peaked at Rs 7,505 per tola on Thursday, dropped to Rs 7,065 per tola on Friday, the federation stated.
