A total of three million ballot papers for the first-past-the-post system have been printed so far for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21. According to the Election Commission, ballot printing for 25 districts has already been completed.
The Commission stated that ballot printing is being carried out regularly at Janak Education Materials Center in Bhaktapur. Printing of 20.83 million ballot papers for the proportional representation system was completed earlier.
Similarly, 1,098,200 sample ballot papers for voter education purposes have also been printed. These materials have been shared through the Commission’s official Facebook page, X, TikTok, and YouTube platforms.
The Commission believes that such materials targeted at voters, political parties, candidates, and stakeholders will help enhance electoral integrity, ensure access to official and reliable information for citizens, and reduce the impact of misinformation and disinformation.
