An earthquake has occurred in the Kanchenjunga area of Taplejung. The tremor struck at 2:47 AM today.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the earthquake measured 4.0 in magnitude.
The epicenter was located near the Nepal–India border. The tremor was felt in several districts of eastern Nepal. However, there are currently no reports of damage caused by the earthquake.
