A business delegation from the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry has arrived in Kathmandu with the aim of further strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Nepal and Qatar. The delegation is led by board member Mohd Ahmad M. A. Al-Obaidli. On Tuesday, the team met with Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Bishwanath Paudel, holding detailed discussions on economic relations between the two countries, cooperation in the banking system, investment promotion opportunities, and various aspects of bilateral investment and banking collaboration. The delegation visited Kathmandu at the invitation of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) to enhance trade and investment partnerships. FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal, sharing the update on Facebook, expressed confidence that the discussions would open new avenues for deeper economic cooperation between Nepal and Qatar.
