The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) has begun collecting suggestions for drafting its election manifesto for the upcoming House of Representatives elections. According to UML Central Office Secretary Dr. Bhishma Adhikari, the party sought input from party organizations, mass organizations, and other sectors in preparation for the elections scheduled for Falgun 21.
He said that some mass organizations submitted their suggestions in person at the party office, while others sent recommendations via email. The party is compiling these inputs and incorporating them into the process of finalizing the manifesto draft.
Dr. Adhikari informed that the UML plans to make its election manifesto public in the first week of Falgun.
The party has formed a manifesto drafting committee under the coordination of party chair KP Sharma Oli. The committee includes Vice Chairs Ram Bahadur Thapa and Bishnu Paudel, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, and leaders Ishwar Pokharel, Pradeep Gyawali, and Bishnu Rimal as members.
