Prime Minister Sushila Karki, who is also overseeing the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, is set to present the “Film Bill, 2081” in today’s meeting of the National Assembly.
According to the tentative agenda of the National Assembly meeting scheduled for 1:15 PM today, as determined by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Prime Minister Karki will present the bill to the assembly for discussion and approval.
Likewise, ministers concerned are scheduled to respond to oral questions related to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration and the Ministry of Finance during today’s session.
In the meeting, Tulasa Kumari Dahal, Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee, will present the committee’s annual report for the fiscal year 2081/82.
Similarly, Maya Prasad Sharma, Chairperson of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, will table a proposal to discuss the study report, 2082, on the Immigration Act, 2049 and the delegated legislation formulated under that act.
