Nepal is currently under the influence of a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology under the Meteorological Forecasting Division, partly cloudy conditions are being observed in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Fog and haze have also been reported in those areas as well as in other parts of the country.
This afternoon, fog is likely to persist in some places of the Terai region. Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the remaining regions of the country will experience mainly clear weather.
Tonight, fog is expected in some parts of the Terai. The Division forecasts partly cloudy conditions in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, with the rest of the country remaining mainly clear.
