Taking into account the evolving situation in the Middle East, Nepali embassies in the Gulf region have coordinated and promoted a portal launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal.
The Embassy of Nepal, Riyadh has informed that the portal has been brought into operation for the registration of Nepali nationals and has urged Nepali migrant workers to provide necessary information.
According to the embassy, the portal has been launched to collect information regarding the status of Nepali citizens and to facilitate any required action. The portal prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will gather information about Nepalis residing in Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Similarly, various diaspora organizations affiliated with different political parties have also announced the appointment of contact persons to assist Nepali nationals in the region.
