Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Tuesday. According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 147.43 and the selling rate is NPR 148.03.
The buying rate of one Euro is NPR 170.41 and the selling rate is NPR 171.11. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is NPR 196.75 and the selling rate is NPR 197.55, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of NPR 189.19 and a selling rate of NPR 189.96.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at NPR 103.42 and the selling rate at NPR 103.84. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 108.92 and a selling rate of NPR 109.36, while the Singapore dollar’s buying rate is NPR 115.15 and the selling rate is NPR 115.62.
For the Japanese yen, the buying rate for 10 yen is NPR 9.30 and the selling rate is NPR 9.34. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of NPR 21.31 and a selling rate of NPR 21.40. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of NPR 39.27 and a selling rate of NPR 39.43, while the Qatari riyal has a buying rate of NPR 40.34 and a selling rate of NPR 40.50.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.59 and a selling rate of NPR 4.61. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of NPR 40.14 and a selling rate of NPR 40.30, while the Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 37.20 and a selling rate of NPR 37.35. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is NPR 9.90 and the selling rate is NPR 9.94.
Likewise, the Swedish krona has a buying rate of NPR 15.94 and a selling rate of NPR 16.01, and the Danish krone has a buying rate of NPR 22.81 and a selling rate of NPR 22.91.
The central bank has set the buying rate of the Hong Kong dollar at NPR 18.86 and the selling rate at NPR 18.94. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of NPR 481.25 and a selling rate of NPR 483.21. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of NPR 390.54 and a selling rate of NPR 392.13, while the Omani riyal has a buying rate of NPR 382.94 and a selling rate of NPR 384.49.
Meanwhile, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at NPR 160 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
The central bank stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website. (RSS)
