Gunshots were fired outside the residence of famous Hollywood pop star Rihanna in Beverly Hills, California. Police confirmed that the singer is completely safe following the incident.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting occurred around 1:21 PM on Sunday. About 10 rounds were reportedly fired from a vehicle that had stopped across the street in front of the gate of Rihanna’s home.
A report by the Los Angeles Times stated that one of the bullets pierced through the wall of the house. Police quickly responded to the scene and arrested a 30-year-old woman at the location. Rihanna was inside her home at the time of the shooting.
Following the incident, security around the property has been tightened. Police are currently investigating whether the suspect specifically targeted Rihanna or if there were other motives behind the attack.
In recent times, attacks targeting celebrities have been increasing. Earlier, in Canada, the café owned by Indian comedian Kapil Sharma was reportedly shot at three times. In India, gunfire was also reported at the residence of actor Salman Khan in April 2024 and at the house of filmmaker Rohit Shetty on January 31, 2026.
Rihanna has also been in the spotlight recently due to developments in her personal life. She gave birth to her third child in September 2025. The singer, who is in a relationship with rapper A$AP Rocky, recently said in an interview that life does not always follow the path one plans.
