A tragic incident occurred in Achham as 7-year-old Kriti Saud, daughter of Khadak Saud from Kuskot-4, Mellekh Rural Municipality, lost her life after being swept away by a stream.
According to Achham Police, Kriti was returning home from treatment at her maternal uncle’s residence in Sanfebagar-13, Babla, when she fell into the Ekdi Khola while crossing a narrow path.
A joint search operation by the police and armed forces recovered her body about three kilometers downstream from the site.
