In the local market, the prices of gold and silver showed a modest rise on Thursday compared to Wednesday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of one tola of gold was set at NPR 194,800, while the same amount of silver was trading at NPR 2,290.
On Wednesday, one tola of gold was traded at NPR 193,500, and silver at NPR 2,255.
International media reports indicate that gold is being traded at USD 3,338 per ounce today.
