The secretariat meeting of Rastriya Swatantra Party, which was scheduled to be held today (Saturday), has been postponed to Sunday.
According to party spokesperson Manish Jha, the meeting will now be held on Chaitra 1 at 10:00 AM at the party’s office in Banasthali, following instructions from party chair Rabi Lamichhane.
He said the agenda of the meeting includes recommending proportional representation (PR) candidates and other miscellaneous matters.
Based on the results of the House of Representatives proportional representation vote held on Falgun 21, the party is expected to recommend 57 lawmakers under the proportional system.
