A protest has been continuing at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu demanding strict action against those involved in the gang rape and murder of 16-year-old Inisa BK of Birendranagar.
The demonstration on Sunday was organized by Nepal Dalit Mukti Morcha.
Protesters have been staging continuous demonstrations at Maitighar since Friday, calling for an impartial investigation and strict punishment for those responsible for the gang rape and murder of the teenage girl.
On Sunday, the protest entered its third day, with participants pressuring the government to ensure justice. Demonstrators carried placards with slogans such as “Justice for Inisa,” “Stop rape, violence and murder against girls,” “End caste-based discrimination,” and “Stop all forms of violence and oppression against women and children.”
